U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) administers U.S. laws, regulations and policies governing the export and reexport of commodities, software, and technology (collectively “items”) falling under the jurisdiction of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) administers the export and re-export of defense articles, defense services and related technical data from the United States to any foreign destination or to any foreign person, whether located in the United States or abroad, falling under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. §§ 120-130,1. We can help you with education/training, processes, and actual assistance by our experts in determination of Department of Commerce or State, and filing the proper licenses.
